DUBLIN, Ohio — A two-alarm fire damaged the E&H Ace Hardware store in the Dublin Plaza shopping center Tuesday evening, prompting a large emergency response and evacuations of nearby businesses.
No injuries were reported, according to Washington Township Fire.
Crews were dispatched around 6 p.m. to the busy shopping center off West Bridge Street, where firefighters found flames coming from the hardware store’s roof, according to Washington Township Fire Chief John L. Donahue.
“About 6 p.m. today, we received a fire alarm for a local business here,” Donahue told 10TV. “Personnel arrived there, and shortly thereafter they noticed a fire here at the E&H Ace Hardware, and called in a full alarm assignment for a structure fire here.”
He said that the situation was elevated to a second alarm
