Gillian Mandel scored 26 points to lead Boiling Springs girls basketball to a season-opening 47-25 win at Littlestown in non-conference play Tuesday.
Scoring all of her points from the floor, Mandel had an excellent start to her sophomore season. She scored 14 points in the third quarter alone.
Mady Brownawell added on 13 points to help pace the Bubblers (1-0). Autumn Moran finished with 14 points for Littlestown (0-1).
