Chris Pratt is clearing things up about how he met his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger .

The 46-year-old set the record straight on a rumor that his now mother-in-law Maria Shriver introduced the pair.

“That’s actually not true,” he told Steve Doocy on Fox & Friends on Tuesday (December 2). “Let’s settle it now.”

“I met my wife in church ,” he continued. “I was at a church in Hollywood, and I looked over, and I saw her. And I know you’re not supposed to be, like, checking out girls at church, but I’m only human. And I thought, ‘Wow, she’s really cute.’”

“I was there with my son Jack , and I picked him up from the kids program, and Jack and I met Katherine basically at the same time,” Chris added. “And, yes, the rest is history.”
