ASHLAND, Wis. (Northern News Now) - Ashland School District leaders want to hear what you think about possibly moving to a four-day school week.
The school district recently approved a committee to look into potential benefits and challenges that come with a 4-day school week.
They say some of the reasons for exploring it include improvements in student and staff mental health while making it easier to recruit and retain teachers.
District leaders are now asking Ashland community members to fill out a survey, sharing their thoughts.
The survey is open through Thursday, December 4, and can be filled out by clicking here .
Other school districts in our area that have moved to a four-day week include Carlton and Two Harbors.
