Lisa Burtenshaw had an easier time in her race against Jeff Alldridge in the runoff election for Idaho Falls mayor than she did in the general election as ballots were counted Tuesday night, coming out on top in a hard-fought contest.

With 100% of precincts reporting at 9:28 p.m., Burtenshaw had 6,435 votes (53.19%) compared to Alldridge with 5,663 votes (46.81%),
