EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Owensboro Catholic Aces are back for the third straight year in the Class 2A state championship game.
On Friday, they have a chance bring home the title, something that they’ve fallen just short of doing the past two years.
The Aces know what to expect, they know what they’re capable of, but, in the last round of the playoffs, they got a boost that could push them to the finish.
They got revenge for their state title loss last year, defeating a very tough Beechwood team, by one point.
“You’ve got to beat a team like Beechwood to get over the hump. Hopefully, we get that monumental type win out of the way, and then we can go in, have proof that we can win a game like that. We know exactly what it’s going to take, it’s going to take a four quarter battle jus
