A man in Gatlinburg, Tenn. captured the scary moment a visitor to the town decided to beckon and attempt to feed a wild black bear.

Kristopher S. Underwood filmed the incident in November. The shocking clip, which Underwood shared with Storyful, shows a black bear in a populated area of Gatlinburg approaching a group of people. Instead of moving away from the wild animal, the individuals stay put, with one woman kneeling to get closer to the large bear.
