Karl-Anthony Towns has remained fully committed to the New York Knicks ever since arriving in the offseason. The star big man even slimmed down over the summer to better adjust to his new role at power forward.
On Tuesday, Towns and the Knicks faced off against the Boston Celtics. During the game, KAT caught the attention for something entirely unrelated to the game that briefly drew attention from viewers. While New York held a 43-37 lead during the second quarter, cameras captured a moment where Towns spat on the court.
Unfortunately for New York, the game’s momentum shifted quickly. The Knicks struggled to maintain control, ultimately falling 123-117 at TD Garden. The defeat dropped their record to 13-7 on the season.
