Mikki Pike Hatfield, who was initially charged with conspiracy to injure or impede a federal officer and assault on a federal officer, attended a change of plea hearing on Wednesday morning.

Hatfield has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to injure or impede but not to assault.

Hatfield is required to adhere to specific pre-trial conditions for the next 18 months. If found compliant, Hatfield will withdraw the guilty plea and instead be charged with a misdemeanor.

We spoke with Hatfield outside the courthouse about the case and learned that another court appearance has been scheduled to take place in 18 months.

The other three individuals named in the original indictment have their court appearances scheduled for early next week.
