WHITMAN COUNTY, Wash. – A two-car collision has blocked the southbound lanes of U.S. Route 195, the Washington State Patrol (WSP) reported.

The crash occurred Wednesday evening around 5:28 p.m., three miles south of Colfax near milepost 34.

A Life Flight was requested to the scene, and local fire crews are assisting WSP troopers in clearing the area.

According to WSP officials, the Washington State Department of Transportation has been advised of the incident. There is no word yet on when the roadway will reopen, and no further information regarding the crash or the injuries sustained from it has been shared at this time.
