Donald Trump is reportedly preparing to expand a travel ban on entering the United States to people from more than 30 countries.
The news comes as the White House paused all immigration applications from 19 countries and cancelled citizenship ceremonies across the US, citing national security concerns.
Trump barred 19 countries in the summer, with the majority of them linked to African or Muslim-majority countries including Afghanistan , Iran and Libya.
But he is now set to add 11 more following one of the most sweeping travel bans in history. Nationals of Afghanistan , Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Myanmar , Somalia, Sudan and Yemen are already going to be barred from entering the United States under the new rules, which came into effect on June
