Tributes have been paid to a 'much-loved' dad who was killed in a Midlands crash.

Pedestrian Phillip Tetley suffered serious injuries in a collision with a car.

Members of the public rushed to his aid before paramedics arrived but he could not be saved and died at the scene.

His devastated family have now paid tribute to him.

In a statement, they said: "Phil was a much-loved husband, son and father to four and stepfather to three.

"He was the kindest and most thoughtful man and friend to many."

The collision took place on the A620 Straight Mile, close to HMP Ranby, Nottinghamshire, just after 7.55am on Monday, December 1.
