CADILLAC, MI - Dozens of people filled a standing-room only courtroom in Northern Michigan this week as a prosecutor described in gruesome detail how authorities believe pregnant 22-year-old Rebecca Park was mutilated and killed, her nearly full-term baby cut from her body by her biological mother and the woman’s husband.
The description, which Wexford County Prosecutor Johanna Carey said she hated having to repeat in court - once for each suspect - drew audible gasps from some of those who packed the courtroom Tuesday. Others cried as the allegations were recounted.
