Gunfire erupts inside Wilkes-Barre apartment leaving one man injured and blood trail through home

Wilkes-Barre, PA — A 20-year-old man was wounded early Saturday morning after a burst of gunfire inside a residential apartment sent bullets through walls and into a neighboring unit, prompting a full-scale investigation by city and state police.

Officers responded to McLean Street at approximately 12:42 a.m. after residents reported multiple gunshots coming from inside a residence. Upon arrival, police discovered a large pool of blood at the front door and immediately secured the area.
