1Philadelphia, Pa. – A man was hospitalized Tuesday evening after being shot in the leg near Temple University Hospital, authorities said.

Officers from the 25th District responded around 5:25 p.m. to 3401 North Broad Street after the victim arrived at the hospital seeking treatment.

Police said the man suffered a gunshot wound to his left leg and was listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made and investigators have not yet identified a motive.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group is leading the probe and continues to gather evidence from the scene.

Authorities said additional information will be released as it becomes available.
