Coronation Street writer reveals when Debbie's dementia story will end

A writer for Coronation Street has given further insight into when Debbie Webster ’s ( Sue Devaney ) dementia storyline will end.

Beloved character Debbie was diagnosed with dementia earlier this year. Prior to going to the doctors, Debbie started to grow concerned about her sudden changes in behaviour, and issues with her health .

Debbie attended an appointment, but was under the impression the doctor would tell her that she’s experiencing symptoms of the menopause .

She was absolutely knocked for six when she received confirmation that she has dementia. At first, the only person who knew about the diagnosis was Debbie’s brother Carl Webster ( Jonathan Howard ).
