BRAINERD — With a ton of experience returning, the goal for Brainerd gymnastics head coach Jessica Lofrano-Larson is to make sure everyone stays healthy.
Last season saw a battered Brainerd team riddled with injuries and sometimes failing to field a full roster.
With just one senior graduated, Lofrano-Larson hopes to build off the craziness of last season.
“Last season was interesting because I don’t think we ever had the same lineup going into a meet,” Lofrano-Larson said. “We didn’t have full lineups because we were working with a small team and working around injuries. We got a lot of underclassmen into some higher-pressure roles, so I think we will see that pay off this year. We have a full roster of kids with varsity experience.”
