The scheme comprises the installation of ground mounted solar arrays, energy storage and associated development comprising grid connection infrastructure and other infrastructure integral to the construction, operation, and maintenance of the development for the generation of over 50 megawatts of electricity.

The application was submitted to the Planning Inspectorate for consideration by Enso Green Holdings D Limited on 02 July 2024 and accepted for examination on 30 July 2024. 

Following an examination during which the public, statutory consultees and interested parties were given the opportunity to give evidence to the Examining Authority, recommendations were made to the Secretary of State on 3 September 2025.
