A former police officer is facing a misconduct hearing following an allegation of a domestic incident resulting in colleagues being called.
William Douglas, a former PC with Cleveland Police, is accused of committing gross misconduct and could be barred from working for any other force in the country.
An accelerated misconduct hearing will take place on December 11 to decide what sanctions, if any, the former officer will face.
According to the force website, it is alleged that former PC 2747 William Douglas has breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour for police officers, specifically the standards of discreditable conduct.
It is alleged that on September 10, 2024, he attended a local address, whereupon he was involved in a domestic related incident that led to the front door
