To many Hillary Wolf looked all set for a successful career in Hollywood.

After all, by the age of 15 she had already starred in Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, two of the highest grossing family movies of all time. She'd also played the lead role in another family comedy, Big Girls Don’t Cry… They Get Even.

But in something of an unexpected pivot, she swiftly quit acting, instead dedicating herself to a sport which took her to two Olympic Games, before switching to a different sport entirely after meeting her husband.

Now 48, she's leads a comparatively quiet life away from the bright lights
