A flight route has been announced by Jet2 which will run a weekly service, every Thursday from Glasgow Airport to the coastal city of Hurghada in Egypt. The route will begin on February 11, 2027 and will run weekly.

Glasgow Airport said: "Whether you're after culture , relaxation, or a bit of both, this destination promises warmth, adventure and endless holiday memories."

To mark this news, Jet2 has unveiled details of a special launch promotion on all Jet2holidays to Egypt, offering £100 off per person on all holidays to Egypt from Glasgow.

This means that as well as being able to experience all that the destination has to offer with the award-winning tour operator, holidaymakers can also enjoy a getaway to the sunshine favourite for much less.
