A Coronation Street writer has seemingly 'confirmed' how long viewers will be able to enjoy Debbie Webster on screen for after fears her exit was looming following the character's dementia diagnosis.
As fans of the ITV soap know, the hotel owner, played by Sue Devaney, was given the heartbreaking diagnosis back in April, after being concerned about her memory loss and booked an appointment at a private clinic, believing her symptoms may be related to the menopause.
Fans were quickly left heartbroken by the news, as aware there is no cure, they knew Debbie's diagnosis will eventually see her written out of the long-running show.
