Florida football will try to start off the Jon Sumrall era with a strong close to its 2026 recruiting class on Early National Signing Day on Dec. 3.

Florida will try to secure financial agreements for all of its current 18 commitments during the day while possibly adding a few more. Sumrall was named head coach on Nov. 30 and has been on zoom calls with recruits and their families, asking them to give him a chance.
There could be some surprises on National Signing Day as well, given the amount of coaching turnover in the SEC over the weekend, which includes Sumrall at Florida, Lane Kiffin at LSU, Alex Gol
