The Philadelphia 76ers‘ wallet just got a little thinner.
The NBA fined the 76ers $100,000 on Wednesday for an injury-report violation surrounding Joel Embiid.
Embiid was listed as out on an initial injury report ahead of a Nov. 30 game against the Atlanta Hawks, but wound up playing.
Atlanta won the game 142-134 in double overtime.
Per the NBA, the fine accounted for the 76ers’ history of violating injury reporting rules.
