NEW ORLEANS — Two men were killed along Chef Menteur Highway after a shooting Tuesday night, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Police said the shooting happened around 7:52 p.m. when officers were called to the 14700 block of Chef Menteur Highway. When they arrived, two men were found with gunshot wounds. Both victims died on the scene.
NOPD said investigators are gathering evidence to determine possible suspects and a motive.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will release the victims’ names and the official cause of death after completing autopsies and notifying their families.
