Music star Criscilla Anderson has died at the age of 45 after a lengthy battle with colon cancer. On Wednesday (December 3), the Country Every After star passed away following a seven-year battle with the deadly disease. The star’s death was announced today in a statement she had written herself shortly before her death.

It read: “If you’re reading this, I’ve finally slipped into the arms of Jesus – peacefully and surrounded by love. Please don’t stay in the darkness of this moment. I fought hard, and I loved deeply. I am not gone... I’m home.”
