In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Jonathan Nicholson, age 39 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on four previous charges.

Gerald Wood, age 58 of Gadsden, was arrested by an unnamed agency on unnamed charges.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 99 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
