WASHINGTON — Former child star Zachery Ty Bryan and his fiancée, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, were arrested over Thanksgiving weekend by Oregon police.

The Lane County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the 44-year-old actor and his fiancée were arrested after a report of reckless endangerment at a popular campsite in Eugene, Oregon, on Nov. 29. According to the news release, the couple were driving in a pickup truck with their three children when Bryan got out of the vehicle and began walking on the road.

Cartwright, according to the police report, allegedly "attempted to run over Bryan" and crashed the truck with the children inside into a ditch. Bryan moved out of the way to avoid injury, and no one inside the truck was injured, police said.
