JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - A woman is being held on a $50,000 bond after police said she pulled a knife on a man when he woke her up to fix Thanksgiving dinner.

Craighead County District Court Judge David Boling found probable cause Monday to charge Roshelle Ray Rogers, 30, of Jonesboro, with second-degree domestic battering.

Officers arrested Rogers on Nov. 27 after being called to a home on Hope Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance.

According to the affidavit, the victim said he “woke Rogers up to begin getting food together for the holiday and that upset her.”

The victim reportedly told officers that Rogers began swinging a pocketknife at him and sliced his left arm.

“Officers collected the pocketknife and noted that blood was still visible on the blade,” the affidavit said.
