LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A DoorDash driver was attacked and robbed during a food delivery Monday in Lincoln, and police say they’ve caught two boys responsible.
The 50-year-old male victim told Lincoln Police he was assaulted by multiple people, one of which tried to attack him with what he believed to be a knife.
He said the assault happened when he arrived to drop off an order at an apartment in the area of Huntington Avenue and 43rd Street, police said.
The victim told officers the suspects forcibly took the food from him without paying and one pointed a sharp object, determined to be a pair of scissors, before hitting him.
LPD said the victim had minor injuries to his hands and the side of the head.
