The Cleveland Browns don’t have much to play for in the final weeks of the 2025 season with a 3-9 record, but they could get their QB1 back.

Cleveland opened up the 21-day practice window for Deshaun Watson on Wednesday. The 30-year-old is recovering from a twice-torn Achilles. The first tear came in October 2024 before Watson re-ruptured the tendon that following January.

Watson has been on the physically unable to perform list. Opening up the practice window will give the Browns time to decide if they want to add him to the active roster or keep him on the PUP list.

The Browns signed Watson to a fully guaranteed five-year, $230 million contract in 2022 after he was acquired from the Houston Texans. He has a year-and-a-half remaining.
