The Steelers signed linebacker Kana'i Mauga to the practice squad.
Mauga entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Denver Broncos following the 2022 NFL Draft. He spent time on the Broncos practice squad, before being signed to the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad late in the season.
Mauga spent time on the Raiders practice squad, active roster and then finished the season on the Reserve/Injured List in 2023 after appearing in five games. In 2024, he appeared in 12 games for the Raiders.
He joined the Chargers during the 2025 offseason, spending time on the practice squad through the middle of the season.
Mauga played college football at USC where in four seasons he started 24 of the 43 games he appeared in. He had 207 tackles, 106 of them solo stops, 16.5 tackles for a loss,
