Mondelez Global LLC has issued a voluntary recall of select Ritz Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches over a labeling error.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced the recall on Nov. 28, affecting 70 cases of the popular snack distributed in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania. While the outer packaging accurately identifies the crackers as peanut butter crackers, the individually wrapped packs inside may be marked as Ritz Cheese Sandwich Crackers.

This creates a potentially dangerous situation for consumers with peanut allergies, who think they’re eating cheese-filled sandwiches. They could experience severe or life-threatening allergic reactions after consuming the snack.

So far, Mondelez hasn’t received any reports of illness
