BATON ROUGE — Sometimes keeping recruits that have been committed to you is a major win.

New LSU football coach Lane Kiffin , a couple of days on the job in Baton Rouge, was able to reel in one the biggest prospects for the LSU 2026 recruiting class in five-star defensive tackle Richard Anderson out of Edna Karr High School in New Orleans.

Anderson has been committed to the Tigers since June but, reportedly, was not going to sign during the early signing period to feel out the new coaching staff at LSU.
