TACOMA, Wash. — A fourth suspect wanted on murder charges in the death of 18-year-old Messiah Washington was arrested following a car chase with the Seattle Police Department, a spokesperson confirmed Tuesday.
Washington was shot and killed Feb. 22, 2025 inside the elevator of an apartment building in Tacoma’s Hilltop neighborhood. Video footage shows Washington pacing in the lobby around 9 p.m. When he gets into the elevator, he is surrounded by a group of people and shot multiple times, according to court documents.
Three other teen suspects were arrested for Washington's murder. One pled guilty to lesser charges in September and two others are still undergoing the court process.
