Happy Hump Day! The chilly weather continues this afternoon. Highs will struggle to hit the mid-to-upper 40s this afternoon. Wind gusts will create a wind chill effect and cause temperatures to feel several degrees colder than they actually are.
Lows overnight will drop into the 30s and upper 20s. Expect similar conditions heading into Thursday.
A few brief snowflakes can’t be ruled out early Thursday morning in the Sequatchie Valley. The daylight hours tomorrow will stay dry, but rain chances and the chance for some wintry mix mixed in will appear late tomorrow evening.
Overall, the majority will only see cold rain. Rain showers will be heaviest through Friday morning, then scattered showers will be possible throughout the afternoon.
I do not expect travel impacts from any wintry mix,
