BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Indiana football head coach Curt Cignetti has earned the Big Ten Coach of the Year award for the second straight season.

The Big Ten Conference announced its regular season award winners on Wednesday, Nov. 3, and included Cignetti being awarded the Hayes-Schembechler Coach of the Year, an award based on votes from other Big Ten coaches, and the Dave McClain Coach of the Year, an award voted on by media members.

Cignetti, who joined the IU football program in 2024, has lost just two games since his tenure began. So far this season, Cignetti's Hoosiers have completed a perfect regular season and have been comfortably ranked No. 2 in both the AP poll and College Football Playoff rankings for the last several weeks.
