SPRINGFIELD — When a family enters Christina’s House, the organization provides new beds, bedding and many basic supplies they will need for their 12-month stay. Every year, it is the Ride to Remember that makes sure that happens.
For each of the 14 years of Ride to Remember , some of the proceeds have gone to the organization that gives women who are homeless or facing homelessness the skills and education they need so they can prepare for long-term stability.
Recently, the Ride to Remember distributed more than $40,000 to four different charities that meet its mission of honoring fallen police officers.
