GRAPEVINE, Texas — A GameStop customer in North Texas traded in a fully authenticated PSA 10 Holo Gengar Pokémon card for $30,000, according to the company.

In a post on X , GameStop announced the trade-in happened on Dec. 1 and is the most valuable single trade-in ever recorded in GameStop history. The card, according to GameStop, has a fair-market valuation of $33,883 and was traded in for $30,494.70.

The post on X has garnered millions of views.

The identity of the person who traded in the card was not released.
