The start of the trial for Natalie McDaniel, the wife of former Cleveland Heights Mayor Kahlil Seren, was rescheduled from Dec. 2 to Dec. 8 at 9 a.m. in room 17D the Justice Center in downtown Cleveland at the defendant’s request, according to court records.

Peter Pattakos, Gregory Gipson, Zoran Balac and Maryam Assar of the Pattakos Law Firm LLC in Cleveland, who are the attorneys representing McDaniel, filed a motion on Nov. 19 requesting the continuance of the original date. That motion went unopposed and was granted on Dec. 2 and signed off on by Judge Jeffrey Saffold in the Cuyahoga Court of Common Pleas.
