An extension of the tree canopy trail and public docks are no longer part of the plan for the current phase of riverfront development, Fort Wayne officials announced today.

Riverfront Phase 2B is a continuation of the development plan that started with Promenade Park in downtown Fort Wayne. This phase is located along the north bank of the St. Marys River.

The project reductions were caused by "recently redefined permit conditions set forth by various state and federal agencies," a news release said.
