Lima Senior appears well equipped to earn a third consecutive City League boys basketball title.

The Spartans have the City League’s player of the year back in the fold with the return of junior guard Shawn Foster. Lima Senior also has senior Willie Foster, who earned All-City League first-team honors, and senior Amari Addy, an all-league second-team selection, back.

Coach Quincey Simpson’s team is the unanimous favorite to win a third straight City League championship.

Lima Senior reached the regional semifinals, where they fell to Cincinnati Winton Woods. Shawn Foster averaged 17.9 points per game, while Willie Foster tallied 13.5 points per game, and Addy added 9.0 points per contest.
