Utah signed the highest-rated recruit in program history on Wednesday morning.
Five-star offensive tackle Kelvin Obot put pen to paper, making his pledge to the Utes official during college football’s early signing period, which closes Friday.
Obot hails from Fruitland High School in Fruitland, Idaho. He is one of Utah’s most important signings in this class, alongside four-star offensive tackle Mataalii Benjamin from Lehi, who also made his signing with the program official.
With Obot’s commitment locked down, the Utes officially earned their first five-star commitment in program history. Utah’s recruiting class currently ranks 37th in the nation and seventh in the Big 12, according to 247Sports.
