LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Falling temperatures that began Wednesday morning will continue to fall into Thursday morning and potentially drop below zero as well.
Forecast lows overnight tonight are expected to generally be in the single digits, but some below zero readings are possible.
Feel like temperatures could drop down to 5 to 15 below zero (possibly lower in northeast Nebraska).
Mid 20s to the east and mid 40s to the west in the afternoon are likely highs.
Friday looks fantastic with 40s statewide with some areas flirting with 50 degrees.
Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies are on the way over the next couple of days as well.
A rain/snow mix remains possible Saturday with impacts as of right now minor at best. We cool down over the weekend, but 40s return next week.
