Kayd Coffman , a class of 2026 four-star quarterback from East Kentwood, is signing Wednesday with Michigan State football on early signing day. Coffman led the Falcons to a 10-3 season and their first district and regional titles in 11 years, before losing to the eventual Division 1 state champions in the semifinals . Coffman is the No. 5 player in the state in his class , per 247 Sports' composite rankings, the No. 25 QB in his class and the No. 364 recruit in the nation. He had interest from Colorado, Ohio State, Ole Miss and Duke among others.
