Edmonton police have issued warrants for a 36-year-old man who they say has been known to harass and threaten women he meets on dating and escort sites.
The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) says in one such instance, the man began communicating with a woman on Tinder in 2022.
“The pair exchanged phone numbers, after which he began harassing and berating her,” Edmonton police said in a news release. “When she blocked his number, he reportedly used several different phone numbers to continue the harassment.”
Authorities say the alleged harassment stopped before resuming this year after the man found the victim on an escort site.
