Seizure of the Hells Angels clubhouse in Kelowna is being used as a template for the government’s attempt to take similar action against the gang’s properties in Surrey, Mission, and Pitt Meadows.

The B.C. Civil Forfeiture Office has filed a claim in B.C. Supreme Court seeking the forfeiture of the clubhouses in an effort to large and undercut organized crime.

“Organized crime has no place in B.C. and our government has been working with focus and resolve to go after gangs and remove the profits of criminal activities,” minister of public safety and solicitor general Nina Krieger said in a release.
