Scott considering state funds to buy down education tax increase

MONTPELIER — Gov. Phil Scott is considering using state funds to buy down yet another projected double-digit increase on education property taxes.

On Monday, Tax Commissioner Bill Shouldice announced that his team is anticipating education property taxes to increase by 11.9% on average.
