A day after he was waived from the 53-man roster , Gaskin re-signed with the Seahawks as a member of the practice squad. This is the third time Seattle has signed the Lynnwood native to its practice squad this season.
The 28-year-old Gaskin, who was a standout at Seattle’s O’Dea High School, was promoted to the 53-man roster on Saturday and made his Seahawks debut on Sunday. He rushed for six yards on three carries in a 26-0 win over the Minnesota Vikings. It was the first time Gaskin played in an NFL game since Week 5 of last season.
Seattle waived Gaskin on Tuesday but was able to re-sign him after he cleared waivers.
