LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Three people, including a “repeat offender” are in Lansing police custody after gun and drug arrest, police announced Wednesday afternoon.

According to LPD, the Lansing Special Operations Section took three people into custody, including Tyrone Keys.

Keys is described as a repeat offender with a “lengthy” criminal history, including assault, robbery, carrying a concealed weapon, breaking and entering and drug charges.

Police say two stolen guns, ammo, high-capacity drum magazines and cash were found. Baggies of drugs were also recovered.

Police did not identify the other two people who were arrested.

“Huge shoutout to our SOS team and all our officers for working hard to keep dangerous individuals and illegal guns off our streets!” LPD said.
